AS OF 6-23-2020 Sadly, we have decided to cancel our “in person” 2020 High Desert Book Festival for September 26th. We are following the lead of many festivals that have put off public events this year due to COVID-19 concerns. It is better to err on the side of caution given growing concerns over large gatherings. We want exhibitors and visitors to enjoy themselves worry free… so another time. We are working on making this a ‘virtual’ book festival for 2020. Stay tuned for more information. And please stay safe!

2020 REGISTRATION IS OPEN! We hope to see you in September.

EXHIBITORS have a choice of being at a TABLE SEATED NEXT TO OTHER AUTHORS under a large SHARED tent OR their own individual BOOTH.

4′ TABLE $100  //   6′ TABLE  $150 // 10X10 BOOTH $250 //  10X20 booth $475

TABLES:  A FOUR-FOOT table space is for ONE person/author for the entire day and you get ONE CHAIR (no, sorry but two people cannot share the four-foot space). A SIX-FOOT TABLE may be the SAME author, two co-authors, or an author-illustrator team, with TWO chairs (not TWO separate authors).
BOOTHS: There are a max of the SAME –  TWO individual authors per 10×10 tent/BOOTH (for the same fee). A 10×20 BOOTH may have up to FIVE people in the booth (the same FIVE people).
Your BOOTH package: 10×10 tent: one six-foot table, two chairs, and a trash can.   10×20 booth: two six-foot tables, four chairs and two trash cans. TABLES consist of ONE four-foot table OR four feet of space at a larger table and ONE chair, next to other authors OR – a SIX-FOOT TABLE with two chairs. There are NO shared tables please (you cannot swap out a new set of authors).
Publishing Houses may have several company reps, the authors and titles they publish in their booth. Please contact us so we can discuss your setup.
WHAT TO BRING? Whether table or tent, all exhibitors bring their own tablecloths and decorate as they wish (nothing vulgar, X-rated or offensive).
     ALL exhibitors must sell or promote books, book-related products or services…or they must advance / promote an educational, literacy, or literary subjects. Exceptions are made on an individual basis and major sponsors are exempted.
    Wordsmith Productions reserves the right to allow or refuse participation by any author, company or organization at its sole discretion for any OR no reason. Should your application be declined after your payment is processed, we will refund you promptly.
